Reporting to the CTO, I work closely with the leadership to define the technology strategy to support the N26 expansion in Brazil. My mission is to facilitate the creation of a highly-engaged team that will deliver software products that will help people to achieve financial health.
- Responsible for the agility processes for Engineering, Product, Design and Management teams, staffing, rankings, and IT Operations
- Implemented strategic processes like Team Topologies, OKRs, and Product Roadmapping company-wide
- Helped and facilitated to define the overarching development strategy based on platform teams, which are responsible to build the internal tooling that automates the heavy lifting of software development and standardizing the architectural/design aspects
- Planned and executed quarter roadmaps to structure the Engineering, Product and Design teams
- Restructured underperforming teams, re-allocating people and reviewing the headcount to support truly multi-disciplinary teams
- Standardized the product development across the teams with Kanban, yielding better predictability of the projects while also introducing a sustainable development pace
- Developed the leadership skills of the Tech Leads on how to develop people, keep the team health, and on how to give structured feedback
- Defined the feedback conversation process, guaranteeing the delivery of unbiased/non-confrontational feedback to the Engineering Team's people. Wrote the feedback report of each team member alongside the Tech Leads (~33 reports)
- Educated the teams to work more asynchronously, by segmenting the Slack channels and creating public channels for each team, preventing the constant interruptions to the software engineers made by the business areas and addressing more properly the demands
