Work History

Product Development Engineer

Intelbras
03.2022 - 09.2024
  • Enhanced cross-functional collaboration by fostering open communication between engineering, marketing, and manufacturing teams. I was responsible for ensuring the efficiency and quality of the entire production line, working closely with customers to provide training, technical support, troubleshooting, and feature implementation to enhance overall product performance.
  • We designed cutting-edge products for enterprise wireless networks and long-distance data transmission. Developed new wireless network products for use by robust enterprise customers.
  • Collaborated closely with worldwide suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality components for product assembly.
  • Increased overall product quality through meticulous design reviews and thorough testing procedures.
  • Tested all developed wireless network devices, including hardware and software features. I work extensively with manual testing of access points that implement wireless protocols and standards such as Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be), Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), and Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), WPA2/WPA3, and RADIUS (802.1x) for secure authentication access. My expertise also extends to IoT technologies like Bluetooth (BLE 5.1), ZigBee, and RFID, as well as advanced wireless features like 802.11k/v/r for optimized roaming and performance, and CAPWAP for centralized access point management.
  • Gained significant experience with multi-layer OSI model protocols, such as NAT, TCP, UDP, ARP (RFC 826), ICMP (RFC 792), DNS, SNTP, SSH, Telnet, HTTP/HTTPS, FTP/TFTP, and SFTP for secure file transfers, IGMP for multicast control, SNMP for device monitoring and management, LLDP for device discovery, and IPv4/IPv6 alongside DHCP for device addressing, VLAN (802.1Q, 802.1ad) for effective network segmentation, Spanning Tree Protocol (STP, RSTP, MSTP, PVST) for loop prevention, and Link Aggregation (LACP, 802.3ad) to provide redundancy and bandwidth optimization. Additionally, I work with QoS (802.1p) for traffic prioritization and PoE (IEEE 802.3af/at/bt) for powering devices over Ethernet, as well as VPN security protocols such as IPsec, L2TP, and SSTP for secure communications. And got familiarized with routing protocols and techniques like OSPF, BGP, and MPLS.
  • Worked closely with regulatory agencies, such as ANATEL and Wi-Fi Alliance, to obtain required certifications for products prior to market launch.
  • Improved product performance through rigorous validation testing and iterative design revisions.
  • Tested and implemented completed projects such as exhibition events, enterprise networks and government networks.

Technical Support Engineer

Intelbras
12.2013 - 02.2022
  • Provided remote and local assistance to clients, ensuring timely resolution of software and hardware concerns.
  • Mentored junior members of the team on best practices in issue resolution techniques.
  • Served as an escalation point for challenging technical inquiries, demonstrating expertise in product knowledge and problem-solving abilities.
  • Conducted root cause analysis of technical issues, implementing preventive measures for future occurrences.
  • Enhanced customer satisfaction by resolving complex technical issues related to wireless, Ethernet, GPON, and EPON devices, such as access points, switches L2, GPON, and EPON OLT, ONT, and ONU devices.
  • Documented faults and bugs for referral to development staff for use in updates.
  • Responded to support requests from end-users and patiently walked individuals through basic troubleshooting tasks.
  • Explained technical information in clear terms to promote better understanding for non-technical users.
  • Maintained clear communication channels with clients throughout the troubleshooting process, ensuring transparency and trust.
  • Performed root cause analysis of reported issues to enact corrections.
