I built my career at the intersection of language, strategy, and execution — and I intentionally moved beyond the traditional “translator” path.
I started in the craft itself: translation, QA, SEO quality rating, linguistic validation, and machine translation verification. That foundation shaped how I think. I don’t just understand what localization is — I understand how it breaks, where it slows down, and what quality actually looks like inside real products.
From there, I transitioned into Localization Project Management and eventually into Program Leadership. At Bold, I evolved from managing individual launches to architecting international go-to-market strategies. I’ve led multi-country portal launches, designed tiered localization models to balance cost and impact, and built scalable governance frameworks that align Localization with Product, Engineering, SEO, Legal, and Marketing.
Today, as Manager of Localization Program Management, I operate at the systems level. I’m not just delivering translated content — I design operating models. I define scalable processes (Lite vs. Legacy frameworks), evaluate ROI by market, manage international expansion strategy, and build governance structures that reduce friction and increase clarity. I also focus heavily on mentoring and developing my team, empowering them to take ownership and grow into stronger strategic operators.
Academically, I reinforced this evolution with a Master’s in Translation and Localization Management from MIIS, along with additional specialization in Localization. That formal training complements my hands-on leadership experience and supports my involvement in industry conversations, teaching, and strategic discussions about the future of localization.
In short, I evolved from linguist to project manager to localization systems architect and strategic leader — and I continue to focus on building scalable, future-ready localization programs that integrate technology, business strategy, and cultural intelligence.
