- Served as HazMat Team coordinator. Managed all aspects of hazardous material program to include equipment, training, exercises, budget and TACOM AEFRP/IPP. Managed maintenance program of all monitors and equipment requiring calibration and maintenance, service and repair. Worked closely with TACOM Consequence Management Team (CMT) for fielding of new equipment and training. Recommended response equipment to TACOM CMT for fielding throughout the Army. Worked closely with MOTSU Emergency Manager/CBRNE Officer. Alongside EM/CBRNE officer; organizes, plans and coordinates a variety of emergency response programs with federal, state and local entities. Establishes and maintains contacts with federal, state and local officials involved with various emergency action plans. As an Emergency Medical Technician, carries out assignments in accordance with recognized techniques and procedures applicable to the type of injury and illness involved. Performed duties as Firefighter (Basic Life Support). The terminal accomplishes the movement of ammunition and other dangerous cargo. The firefighter serves as a member of a crew engaged in the protection of life and property. Responds to and combats fires in wooded areas and on ships, trains, trucks, and structures which contain munitions, fuels, gases, and volatile chemicals. Maintains documentation of training, i.e., individual training evaluation records and the fire protection training records. Managed training devices, films, technical orders, and the reference library to support effective training and resource accessibility.
