
Police Chief at the Civil Police of Santa Catarina, Brazil (equivalent to a senior investigating officer), a position he has held since 2017. Additionally, he serves as a professor at the Santa Catarina State Civil Police Academy (ACADEPOL) since 2020. Prior to his current role, he held the position of Police Chief at the Paraná State Civil Police from 2016 until 2017. Throughout his career, has overseen specialized criminal investigation divisions, focusing on crimes committed by criminal organizations, homicides, aggravated robbery, drug trafficking, sexual assaults, child sexual abuse and other offenses against children and vulnerable individuals. Responsible for developing of actions, strategies and training programs aimed at standardizing the collection of evidence by Brazilian investigative police agencies, focusing on memory-dependent evidence, including eyewitness identification and investigative interviewing of victims, witnesses and suspects.
