Summary

As an anesthesiologist I have practiced Medicine inside the operating room and also as team supervisor. I worked at neurosurgery, oncology and plastic surgery at the beginning of my career, and then focused on trauma and ENT surgeries at the Clinics Hospital of the University of Sao Paulo and ALbert Einstein Hospital where I work most of the time. My areas of interest and teaching are mainly the anesthesia for ENT surgery, advanced airway management and enhancing team performance on the field. This I decided to participate more actively on research and I intend to start a PhD program. My other areas of interest are medical informatics, the development of new monitoring technologies, crisis management in anesthesia, application of cognitive aids and no technical skills in the operating room.

As an anesthesiologist I have practiced Medicine mainly inside the operating room. I worked at neurosurgery, oncology and plastic surgery since the beginning of my career and recently have moved to trauma and emergency anesthesia at the Clinics Hospital of the University of Sao Paulo where I work most of the time. My areas of interest and teaching are mainly the treatment of massive hemorrhage, advanced airway management and treatment of multiple victims. In the last year I decided to participate more actively on research and I intend to start a PhD program next year. My other areas of interest are medical informatics, the development of new monitoring technologies, crisis management in anesthesia and the application of cognitive aids on the operating room.
