Follow up of major outages (Priority 1) and proceed for recovery steps. Escalation of issues to support teams and follow up of resolution. Execution of IPLs using HMC Console. Execution of middleware recycles manually and through automation. Baseline of more than 250 LPARs for IBM Internal Services executed all around the globe.

Member of TI CIO Hybrid Cloud Z Team, responsible for maintaining, enhancing and supporting the mission-critical systems that support key IBM internal applications.

The scope of this Job Role includes preparation for new or changed services, management of the change process, and maintenance of regulatory, legal, and professional standards, management of performance of systems and services in relation to their contribution to business performance, and management of bought-in services including, for example, public network, virtual private network, and outsourced services.

Typical examples of the deliverables are service-level reporting, risk, and contingency planning. Manage system tasks and workloads, monitoring the system consoles for unusual conditions, and working with the system programming and production control staff to ensure the health and normal operation of the systems. First-level troubleshoot for all the systems.

• Coordination of IT infrastructure projects for all internal and external products
• Implementation of Business Continuity Plans, Change Management, Projects such as creation of Virtualization Environment, Private Cloud, Disaster Recover, Backbone Monitoring and Caching, Discontinuity of Hosting Products, etc
• Infrastructure Administrator with 130 Virtual and 15 Physical Machines each with more than one service running
• Responsible for the performance and availability of all and administering 60%+ of the configured applications/systems
• Metro Network infrastructure supporting hosts and storages in DR, between more than 2 Datacenters, with UTM layer Border firewall with BGP in each location.

• Coordinator of Service Desk activities providing supporting more than 600 employees and their IT assets allocated in their offices in RJ, SP and BH
