Marcus Silva

I am a Civil Engineer currently working as a Site Manager/Site Engineer at Euro Estruturas, a subcontracting company specializing in reinforced concrete structures. In this role, I manage the formwork systems for multiple projects simultaneously and have successfully contributed to the completion of 15 buildings during my time with the company. Recently, I embarked on a new venture by starting my own company to pursue additional challenges in the industry.

I oversee and coordinate multiple tasks with my team, with a focus on efficiency and risk management. My primary responsibility is to plan the most effective approach to minimize execution time and avoid delays, which can be particularly costly for subcontracting firms. I am also responsible for coordinating the setting out of foundations, columns, beams, and slabs, while ensuring adherence to health and safety practices specific to concrete works. Additionally, I continuously monitor costs, including materials, labor, and overheads, and adjust plans and processes as needed to stay within budget and on schedule.
