• Junior Maintenance Engineer: Focuses on the physical upkeep of equipment.
• PLM Component: Focuses on the Machine and Equipment, and ensure that the maintenance history, technical drawings, and part versions in the system match what is happening on the factory.

Key Responsibilities

• Digital Record Keeping: After a repair, updating the system (e.g., AMOS in aviation or CMMS/PLM in manufacturing). This ensures the "Digital Twin" of the machine is accurate.
• Asset Register Management: You help maintain the list of every critical asset, and its service history.
• Spares & Inventory Coordination: Ensuring that the specific version of a spare part listed in the engineering drawings is actually available in the warehouse.
• Troubleshooting & Support: Assisting senior engineers in diagnosing why a part failed and checking the PLM history to see if it’s a recurring design flaw.
