  • Most proud of: Being a protagonist in the profitability transformation journey during the Covid crisis. After the pandemic outbreak, our profitability was severely harmed due to inflation and currency impact, and we faced a huge challenge on leveraging our margins, The uncertainty of the new scenario demanded us to create several new tools and KPIs to monitor how the business was going, prioritize investments on certain product lines, maximize portfolio mix, phasing out unprofitable products, as well as maximizing investments on high margin products. As a result, we were able to grow our product gross margin by 74% and our Pre Tax Income by 118%, in spite of all economic crisis and currency devaluation, with most of our portfolio being impacted by this devaluation
  • Implementation of SAP ATLAS (Still on going). Lead the FP&A team on the implementation of the new SAP system, mapping the impacts and addressing actions with both internal and external team to ensure implementation runs smooth.
  • Successful integration of Vallée FP&A structure, leading process integration, getting Vallée team on board with our culture and procedures, worked on portfolio rationalization, since there were lots of conflicting SKUs on our portfolio, supported leadership team on finding out the best Go to Market model with the combined company.
  • People development: Develop the team so that FP&A team started acting as business consultants to all Business Units, providing meaningful insights to leverage the business.
  • Member of the innovation committee: As part of our culture to build an ambidextrous organization, there is a multidisciplinary team responsible to addressing new business ideas, such as Sure PetCare, where we are empowered to build the project, test and validate how it works. As part of the team, I am responsible for evaluating the initiatives from a financial perspective, creating KPIs to measure how the project is going, and also projecting scenarios for the models we build as a team.
