- Provided care to Mr. Wilson, 82 years old, with dementia sickness. He could not walk. He need help to move from the wheelchair to the armchair, from the toilet to the bed. Everything has to be done without equipment. I stayed with him for 24x24 hours shifts during 7 days, when the family decided to send him to a clinic.
- Afterwards, I saw Ms. Amélia, a Japanese woman, who had surgery to implant a prosthesis in her pelvis. I stayed with her for eight days with 24x24 hours shifts. I helped her with bath, to get up, to sit down and to walk with a walker, leaving her comfortable and confident during this period. I succeeded to prepare her to be able to walk by herself.
- The next job was to provide hospital care to Mrs. Durvalina, 85 years old, admitted and diagnosed with cancer in several organs, where she died on the seventh day of duty.
- I am currently with Mrs. Louísa Lee, since April/24, where I work 24-hour shifts, patient with GTT tube, and hemodialysis catheter, where I help with tube and oral feeding, administration of medications via GTT, bathing, oral hygiene, hydration of the skin of the face and body, massage, physical exercises and walking to strengthen the muscles and therapy to occupy the mind. Dona Louísa has bipolar disorder and a compulsion to buy. She takes, on average, 14 medications daily, given in several stages during 24 hours. She has a busy routine: hemodialysis 4 times a week, different therapies, 4 times a week, and several exercises. She needs a wheelchair everywhere she goes.
