• Applied general curriculum, using the Common Core Standards, within a kindergarten setting
• Practice strategies and techniques in auditory/verbal training through audition, language and speech to children who are deaf and hard of hearing
• Served on two educational boards with the NCaeyc (state affiliate with National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and North Central NCaeyc (local).
• Worked collaboratively with the Division of Child Development and Early Education (DCD-EE) to ensure quality care among the teachers, families, and children
• Facilitating IEP goals within a special education setting

Beyond teaching, my next love is cooking and baking. In the future, I hope to find a job that will enable me to be creative and build upon my current skills.
