Work History

Project Coordinator LATAM (PMO)

Johnson & Johnson
06.2019 - Current
  • In my current role as Project Coordinator in the Procurement function, I lead Agile and strategic initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency, shortening lead times, and delivering tangible results—particularly in cost savings. I identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation, while maintaining a strong connection to business impact.
  • I also lead Procurement Cares Brazil, an initiative focused on promoting inclusion through community-centered actions. These initiatives directly support underrepresented populations—including Black communities, LGBTQIAP+ individuals, and the elderly—reinforcing our company's CREDO and demonstrating a commitment to meaningful social engagement.
  • I am responsible for managing Supplier Inclusion efforts by ensuring the accuracy of supplier data, maintaining certificates from partner agencies, and enhancing visibility of inclusive suppliers across dimensions such as gender, race, disability, age, and sexual orientation. I leverage data and insights to support transparency, accountability, and strategic planning within the supplier base.
  • As the EBRG Lead for Persons with Disabilities (PwD) in Brazil, I design and deliver programs that enhance accessibility, raise awareness, and foster workplace inclusion. In addition to this leadership role, I serve as the global project lead for a Grow Gig focused on Disability & Inclusion. This initiative has resulted in several strategic deliverables, including:
  • The creation of a One Stop Shop: a centralized platform providing leaders and employees with disabilities easy access to resources, guidance on accommodations, inclusive communication practices, and practical procedures. Accessibility assessments in two office locations in partnership with JLL, which are now being used to develop a regional playbook of best practices to guide improvements across all offices.
  • Development of streamlined accommodation processes, ensuring that employees with disabilities can access the resources they need with clarity and dignity.
  • A talent mapping initiative designed to understand the career aspirations, qualifications, and development potential of professionals with disabilities—helping to create equitable opportunities for growth beyond traditional job leveling systems.
  • I work cross-functionally with Talent Acquisition, BU leadership, and other internal partners to integrate inclusion into talent strategies. I’ve also implemented an agile governance model to align strategic priorities across a LATAM volunteer coalition.
  • Additionally, I collaborate with regional teams in Colombia, Mexico, and Argentina, sharing Brazil’s best practices and supporting the implementation of disability inclusion efforts across Latin America. These partnerships demonstrate my ability to influence beyond borders and align regional initiatives with global strategy.
  • I also lead the Record Information Management (RIM) project in Procurement, ensuring compliance and the secure handling of critical documentation. I support enterprise communication by developing strategic materials for key leadership forums, such as BU Governance and Procurement Town Halls, using inclusive storytelling to amplify voices and promote a culture of belonging.
  • Key Initiatives in Brazil:
  • Accessibility audits (office/factory)
  • Product QR Code for visually impaired clients
  • Hand Talk App - live sign language translation
  • #ForEveryoneToSee social media accessibility
  • Facial recognition login for mobility-impaired users
  • Inclusive headphones for hearing aid users
  • Anti-Discrimination Manual
  • Disability Awareness Weeks (2021 & 2022)
  • Career development and education initiatives
  • Intersectional events
  • Coordinated cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of project milestones.
  • Developed and maintained project schedules using MS Project and other project management tools.
  • Facilitated communication between stakeholders to align project objectives and deliverables.
  • Monitored project progress and identified potential risks, implementing mitigation strategies.

I was responsible for planning internal events, updating corporate channels such as the intranet and TV newsletters, and monitoring the communications budget to ensure effective resource allocation. In addition to these responsibilities, I actively contributed to diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts, particularly in supporting the inclusion of persons with disabilities. My work helped drive awareness, accessibility, and engagement within the organization — reinforcing HR’s role as a driver of inclusive culture.

  • At PwC, I led inclusive hiring efforts through the Youth Apprentice and Disability Inclusion Programs, aligned with Brazil’s Law 10.097 and Law 8.213/91. More than legal compliance, these initiatives were strategic actions to promote equity and representation.
